2023 Honda CR-V Preview
When one of the most beloved SUVs is getting a major upgrade, many drivers like yourself are curious to see what’s new and if the changes will make this model even more popular. The 2023 Honda HR-V didn’t just come back for the new model year, but it’s coming back with several changes to the exterior and interior design as well as handling and available features. Get a 2023 CR-V preview below before experiencing this newly released Honda SUV at Honda of Great Falls!
New Generation, Bolder Styling
The CR-V is returning with a bolder look, so it’s clear that this is the new generation. In the front, you will find a larger mesh grille that reminds you of the rugged Honda Ridgeline pickup, and the grille’s size is further emphasized thanks to the thinner headlights surrounding it. For Sport and Sport Touring hybrid trims, there are even more aggressive front and rear fascias.
Take a walk around the SUV and you will also notice that the 2023 Honda CR-V is 2.7 inches longer and nearly a half-inch wider than previous generations. The wheelbase is 1.6 inches longer, making the sixth-generation CR-V the largest of them all. Not only will you notice this difference outside of the SUV, but you will also notice it as well when your legs have more room in the back seat.
While the bolder styling may seem like it’s purely for aesthetics, that’s far from the truth. With the body structure allegedly 15% stiffer torsionally, the suspension calibration will be able to provide more ride comfort as well as steering responsiveness on the Missoula roads. What’s more is that you will be able to see your surroundings better with the side mirrors being moved from the A-pillar to the top of the front doors.
Updated Dashboard Featuring Honeycomb Pattern
As we take a closer look at the 2023 Honda CR-V release, it’s only fair to highlight the upgrades inside this SUV as well. The updated dash features a honeycombed vent that spans from the steering wheel to the passenger door. If you’ve ever seen the new Civic Si interior, you will find the honeycomb pattern to be familiar. Along with this pattern, what else is new is that the infotainment screen has been moved to a stand-alone position near the top of the dash. There’s also a standard 7-inch digital instrument panel that grows to 9 inches on higher trims.
